Common questions
- Why is it free?
- FlightLab exists to make altimeter data useful, and more flights make it better. Jolly Logic uses flight data only in aggregate to improve its products and never shares personal data with outside parties. If paid plans are ever introduced, we will say so well in advance, and your data is always yours to download.
- I already use the AltimeterThree app. Do I need to do anything?
- No. If Cloud Sync is on, you already have everything. Nothing changes and nothing is interrupted.
- Our club or classroom shares one AltimeterThree. Does everyone get access?
- Yes. Each person signs in with their own email and gets their own FlightLab account. Shared altimeters are a normal, supported use.
- Can I get my data out?
- Always. FlightLab Settings has a one-click download of a complete JSON backup of every flight in your account.
